In 2022, Lewis’ terrific performances was recognised as he was nominated for the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award. Additionally, he also played all the matches in the FA Cup competition apart from the final as City also won the cup.
Lewis played a crucial part in City’s momentous treble-winning 2022-23 season where he played 14 matches throughout the league’s season while starting 10 matches. Lewis scored his first goal for the Cityzens (nickname of Manchester City) 2 November 2022 against Spanish league club, Sevilla in the European competition, Champions League.
